1.2. By installing, registering, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1.3. The Company complies with applicable international data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other relevant laws.

  • Contact details such as email address or phone number.
  • Information voluntarily shared in chats, profile fields, or app settings.

  • Geolocation data (only if you grant permission).
  • Usage data — such as app activity, screen interactions, session duration, and device identifiers.

2.3. Subscription and Payment Data

  • Subscription details (e.g., CliQ Premium plan type, activation date).
  • Transaction amounts and dates (processed via App Store or Google Play).
  • Subscription tokens and device identifiers used to verify active subscriptions.

We do not store or process credit card or payment information directly.

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We use collected data for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your account;
  • To enable the functionality of the App and maintain a safe environment;
  • To personalize user experience and improve recommendations;
  • To send notifications, updates, and in-app messages;
  • To perform analytics and measure app performance;
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations;
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

6.2. Data may be stored and processed in Hong Kong, Singapore, the European Union, and the United States, depending on server infrastructure and backup systems.

6.3. Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law.

6.4. When you delete your account, your data is removed or anonymized. Backup copies may be kept for up to 90 daysfor fraud prevention and compliance purposes.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

8.3. Users can restrict or disable cookies and analytics through device or system settings, although this may limit some features of the App.


9. Data Security

9.1. We use advanced security measures, including encryption, authentication, firewalls, and regular audits, to protect user data.

9.2. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure.

By using the App, you acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.

9.3. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and regulators within 72 hours, as required under GDPR.


10. International Data Transfers

10.1. Your data may be transferred to and processed on servers located in Hong Kong, the European Union, Singapore, and the United States of America.

10.2. All transfers are performed in compliance with international data protection frameworks and include appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

The App is intended exclusively for individuals aged 18 years or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

If we learn that data from a minor has been collected, it will be promptly deleted.

12.1. The Company may revise this Policy from time to time.

12.2. Updates will be posted within the App, and the “Effective Date” will be updated accordingly.

12.3. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new version of this Policy.
